About eBiz2016:

eBiz International Summer School program is designed to introduce attenders to the world of multi-channel marketing and provide them with the advanced technical skills needed to identify, engage, and develop relationships with customers in a digital environment.

Video Marketing & Optimization

Different video ads types and which strategy we should apply for a client. Creating and optimize campaign to achieve higher view rates with least costs. Introduction to video shopping campaigns on Youtube.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO essentials for web sites.  On-app search engine optimization essentials for mobile apps & app stores (ASO).

Social media advertising

Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn advertising. Social media case studies. Hands-on exercise: Social media advertising strategy

Criteria for selecting participants

  • Degree/s relevant with the topics and scope of the eBiz Summer School.
  • e-business Working Experience (* not required).
  • Motivation for participating at eBiz. Preferably, the applicant should state the specific reasons for participating in this specific programme.
  • Priority according to registration date.

Syros (Greek: Σύρος), or Siros or Syra is a Greek island in the Cyclades, in the Aegean Sea. It is located 78 nautical miles (144 km) south-east of Athens. The area of the island is 83.6 km2 (32 sq mi) and it has 21,507 inhabitants (2011 census).

By ferry: Visitors reach the island of Syros primarily by ferry, especially since they often chose to combine this visit with an exploration of other parts of Greece. Please, notetha boat schedules to/ from Syros are prone to change.

By plane: Flying into Syros is another common way to reach the island. The area is served by the Syros Airport (code JSY), located near the capital city of Syros, Hermoupolis. The airport of Syros is daily connected with flights from Athens.

Car hire: All European citizens may use their national driver’s license. Non-Europeans need to arrange for an international driver’s license.

Scooter hire: A driver’s license (car/motor) is required. European citizens may use their national driver’s license, while non-Europeans need to arrange for an international driver’s license.

eBiz International Summer School (eBiz2013) started in 2013 and was organized by Dr. Dimitris Drosos (eBiz Scientific Coordinator). It was held in Molyvos, Lesvos Island  and it lasted 7 days. The main theme was “How to Start a Successful e-Commerce Business”.

eBiz2014

The following year, the Second International Summer School (eBiz2014) took place again in Molyvos, Lesvos. This time, the 19 sessions lasted 7 days and were strictly focused on eBusiness operations (logistics, marketing, open source e-commerce platforms etc.).

The 3rd International Summer School has established as mainstream Digital education channel. The eBiz2015 took place in Ermoupolis, Syros and 27 participants were participated. During 5 days and 11 sessions, we focused on Digital Plans, Social Strategy and Web Analytics.
